Eva Roefs (1993) is a portrait photographer based in Amsterdam. Eva has worked across a range subject matter, all of which inform her commercial and editorial projects.
Roefs began one of her best-known projects in 2020. For six months did she build a studio centred around De Trompettersteeg, the narrowest alley in Amsterdam, the project covers 70 different portraits of those with connections to the surrounding neighbourhood – the infamous Red Light District. The resulting images, published in a photobook in September 2021, called: 'Studio Trompettersteeg'
